Tom Akeroyd, Co-Owner, has over 35 years of extensive law enforcement experience. Norma Omoso, Co-Owner, is a law enforcement dispatcher with decades of experience. Both cultivated the idea for the OLA database, long before the age of cyberspace. Now retired, Tom continues to assist the community and protect the property rights of its citizens. As a veteran of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, he served the Alamo City with immense pride and integrity. Tom and Norma have also received several accolades and countless awards throughout the years.
As residents of the area for 55 years, both hail from a highly dedicated law enforcement family. With three brothers who are also retired police officers, their dedication to 'serve and protect' has always been unsurpassed. Although a new venture, the Owner Locator Assistance program has been a work in progress since 1987. Tom and Norma have spent a great number of years developing the database, based on first hand experience and direct interaction.
With their idea now in fruition, they offer the perfect venue for citizens to safely secure their belongings. From criminal apprehension to personal property recovery, the system operates with true precision and efficiency. It also helps insurance companies reduce loss, while delivering timely results. The OLA is unlike any other online database, and is truly a proactive law enforcement tool.
